15 years of SERD and Women's Day!

A meaningful celebration of International Women's Day!

Very pleased to have spent quality time with the patrons and beneficiaries of Social, Education, and Rural Development (SERD) Trust at Maduranthakam yesterday to commemorate the 15th anniversary of this organisation which has dedicated itself to transforming lives at the grassroots level.

For a decade and a half, this organisation has been providing education support to rural students, ensuring they have the resources and guidance to build a brighter future. It has conducted hundreds of medical camps, bringing much-needed relief to thousands, and has championed environmental awareness, taking small yet important steps towards a more sustainable tomorrow.

Its commitment to empowering communities is truly inspiring, whether it is offering nutrition support for the elderly and expectant mothers through specially prepared wholesome meals, or working tirelessly for the upliftment of marginalised as well as indigenous sections of society.

Celebrating such journeys and achievements is good, but even more so is recognising the dedication and relentless efforts of those who have made this mission possible. I enjoyed sharing in their spirit of service on this significant day for women around the world as we accelerate action for collective good.
